It also has 163k miles
It just needs to become a parts truck for a better vehicle at this point

Bedside does have a nice cavern in it.

I like that the poster only mentioned that the frame has rust on it but nothing about it being bent.

Always bad when they mention something you assume is fine right off the bat.
“Frame is good”
WHEW! That saves me the trouble of asking him. Not at all suspicious!

$500 and lemons it

I feel like withholding info like that from clueless people who wouldn’t otherwise know better should be chargeable with criminal negligence.

It’s unfortunate that someone will probably buy it and have no idea that it’s bent because the seller won't say anything.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 20:47 |

And then they later die from it because hey! It turns out that the reason it’s bent is because the aforementioned rust has eaten 3/4 of the way through the frame!

I actually emailed the poster, this was his response:
Not really buying that at all..

This person seems about as sharp as a ball of twine.

I got the exact same thing, just worded differently. He/she definitely knew about the problem, but it sounds like they’re just a dumbass kid who doesn’t understand how serious this is.

I didn’t expect this level of shitwreck and blockheadedness to come from Cape Cod.

Needs more frame rust and possible rod knock.

I have the feeling he/she is either young or at least isn’t a car guy. I emailed again and kindly explained how serious of an issue this could be and to sell it as a “parts truck” only.

There’s plenty of idiots here, just like anywhere else.
One of the things I’ve noticed from living here (on the Vineyard) is that there’s not much of a middle class. Either you’re uneducated and living paycheck-to-paycheck, or this is your second home. It’s also true on the Cape but to a lesser extent. Still, you end up with dumb city-wannabe kids who grew up bumming around and never learned how to be respectable because this life is all they know.

Those running boards and that fairing behind the cab are uncommon options, they could probably fetch some $$.
![]() 06/11/2015 at 21:30 |

I try to deny the existance of the wannabe kid bums on the Cape and Islands, especially growing up in the middle-upper class suburbs right outside Worcester.
The Cape still is that attainable dream home.

I think they came from the factory that way.
Unsafe, that is.

They have no driving feel, whatsoever. They make the Camry ooze soul and passion in the driving feel department. Even one that I’ve driven with a mildly built 383 lacked feeling.
